WHO WE ARE
YON TANNER ARCHITECTURE IS A FIRM WITH A SOLID FOUNDATION OF EXPERIENCED PERSONNEL WITH PROVEN TRACK RECORDS, PERTINENT KNOWLEDGE OF ALL ASPECTS OF ARCHITECTURAL PROJECTS. WE ARE A HIGHLY MOTIVATED AND KNOWLEDGEABLE TEAM THAT STRIVES FOR EXCELLENCE IN DESIGN, PRODUCTION, AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.
Our most important accomplishment and how we judge that a project has been successful are by the satisfaction of our clients. We believe that if we do not leave our clients satisfied with the quality of our services we have not done our job. We are very proud that throughout our careers we have created a reputation for living up to or exceeding our clients’ expectations.

LEADERSHIP
ROY TANNER AIA | PRINCIPAL
After spending his early career in finance, Roy launched a dedicated career in architecture. He continually works in the best interest of the client and the end user, carefully listening at every stage in order to fully understand project aspects and challenges. He is then able to propose creative, realistic solutions to highly complex challenges.
In his 26 years experience in the field, Roy has managed numerous building projects, through all phases for elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, churches, fire stations, and banks. He is experienced in working with site based design groups, programming, design, systems selection, value engineering, construction cost estimation, construction document production, specification writing, bid phase administration, and construction administration.
KERRI STEWART ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER | ASSOCIATE
Kerri has over 5 years of experience in the design and documentation of educational projects. After graduating from Montana State University in Bozeman, Kerri began her design career at Yon Tanner Architecture. In her time working for YTA she has developed diverse array design abilities which include providing business development, 2D & 3D visual representations, document production, and facility assessments. She currently is our resident interiors specialist and has worked on numerous public and commercial projects.
LUIS ZAVALETA ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER | ASSOCIATE
Luis is a native of Peru and a graduate of the National University of Engineering (UNI) in Lima. After graduating and practicing in his native country, Luis taught Architecture at UNI. This experience gave him valuable perspective in transmitting clear and pertinent information to students and faculty.
At Yon Tanner Architecture, Luis brings more than 30 years’ experience teaching and practicing in Peru and the United States. His attention to detail goes above and beyond standard document production. He continually works hard to provide a quality product on each and every project. He is skilled in BIM modeling and 2 & 3D rendering. His considerable experience includes many types of projects including, educational, residential, and commercial Architecture.
