ARAPAHOE HIGH SCHOOL ADDITION & REMODEL
HOME | MORE
Originally built in the 1960’s, Arapahoe High School lacked a design aesthetic and defined entrance. Two impressive entry vestibules were created in order to provide a clear updated design aesthetic at the front of the building (street side). The project consisted of an 18,500 sf gymnasium addition and a 20,000 sf school remodel. The gym addition included an auxiliary gym, locker rooms, and two entry vestibules. The remodel of the existing building involved a new lecture hall and all tech classrooms were remodeled. In addition extensive life safety, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical system upgrades were also performed.
